Our response to COVID-19

Our response to covid-19 is in December 2019, the world came to know a new corona virus disease named COVID-19. It has affected mainland China mostly and has spread to all continents of the world. More or less, we all know how the COVID-19 pandemic began and spread from China to the world. Affecting 143 countries (World Health Organization) until now. What no one knows yet is how the pandemic will end and we can get back to our normal life. Humankind has gone through numerous large epidemics in the past 100 or so years that eventually stopped damaging society. Previously in history, whenever any epidemics happened, it was a mixture of three checklists. Continued social-control measures to buy time, new antiviral medications to ease symptoms, and a vaccine.

Researchers from all over the world have banded together like never before and are working on multiple fronts to develop the vaccine. There is saying that –”Prevention is better than Cure”. Depending on this for current situation prevention is the best approach to stop the spread of infection. WHO has strongly recommended hand and respiratory hygiene for cases, contacts, career, and Health Care Workers. The hand hygiene involves using alcohol-based hand rubs, washing hands with soap-water for at least 20 seconds.

Worldwide many businesses are experiencing economic difficulties as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. They have had to temporarily suspend and substantially reduce their activities and the working hours of their staff. Due to this COVID-19 supply chains around the world are already disrupted and the full impact of it is yet to be felt. Social distancing, self-isolation and travel restrictions forced a decrease in the workforce across all economic sectors and caused many jobs to be lost.

The crucial and final sectors include- Education, Finance industry, Healthcare and the Pharmaceutical industry, Hospitality, Tourism and Aviation industry, Real state and Housing sector, Sports industry, Information Technology, Media, Research and Development, Food industry and also we cannot forget Small Medium Enterprise businesses. Business leaders around the world must prepare for the effects on production, transport and logistics, and customer demand. With the world experiencing a difficult time fighting with COVID-19, we hope that our partners and also you are doing fine because we care for both of your well-being and health.
